Mike Sandhu, D.O.,
Medical Director, Battleground Urgent Care

Dr. Sandhu did his undergrad at University of Pittsburgh and completed his medical degree at Philadelphia college of Osteopathic in 1992. He completed his residency at Pacific of Long Beach Hospital, California and Sports Medicine fellowship at Alleghany University, Pittsburgh, PA. He has worked in the Emergency Room for the University of Pittsburgh since 2001. He is board certified in Family Practice and Sports Medicine. His areas of medical interest are non-operable neck, back, chronic laxity of joints and musculoskeletal injuries..

Henry Althisar, PA-C

Mr. Althisar is a graduate of Augusta State College with a B.S. in education and a minor in general studies. He also attended St. Louis University's Allied Health Program where he attained his training as a Physician Assistant. His experience as a practicing P.A. consists of Orthopedic Spine Surgery, Family Medicine with Internal Medicine and Pediatric experience, and most recently Urgent Care experience. Mr. Althisar is the father of three lovely daughters who reside in Durham. The entire family enjoys basketball, softball, music, and entertainment.

Jerry Davis, MD

Dr. Davis is a native of Reidsville, NC. He graduated from Wake Forest University and the Bowman Gray School of Medicine. Post-graduate training was done at the University of Louisville. He is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the North Carolina Medical Society and the Greater Greensboro Society of Medicine. He is active in our community, serving on the Board of Directors of several non-profit organizations. Dr. Davis and his wife Catherine have resided in Greensboro since 1994. His hobbies include golfing and boating.

Douglas Blevins, MD

Dr. Blevins has over 30 years of experience as an infectious disease specialist and internal medicine practitioner. He is a graduate of University of Virginia School of Medicine. After completing a residency in Internal Medicine at George Washington University Hospital, he pursued a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Washington, DC. He is an active member of the Infectious Disease Society of America and the American Society for Microbiology. His professional interests include developing and testing a unique, expert-based clinical simulation software program used for medical education, outcomes measurement and clinical decision support.
